Warehouse Coordinator / Forklift Operator – Silverwater | Immediate Start

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator with a valid forklift licence to join a well-established national logistics company operating from their Silverwater warehouse site. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-performing warehouse team where reliability, safety and operational standards are taken seriously. If you’re someone who takes pride in running an organised warehouse, enjoys working within a team and is comfortable taking ownership of your work, this could be a great opportunity. For the right person, this role also provides the opportunity to step into greater responsibility on the warehouse floor, supporting daily operations and helping maintain strong safety and inventory standards. We are seeking a candidate who holds a current LF Forklift Licence and brings proven experience from a warehouse or logistics background. You should possess a deep understanding of warehouse operations and stock control, paired with a strong commitment to safety standards and a sharp attention to detail. Success in this role requires a reliable professional with excellent time management skills who is equally comfortable collaborating within a small team or working independently when the task demands it. Additionally, because this is an active role, you must be physically capable of performing regular manual handling tasks.

Job Requirements

In this hands-on warehouse coordinator role, your primary focus involves managing the end-to-end flow of inventory, starting with receiving incoming goods and verifying them for accuracy or damage before storing them in designated locations. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch while safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Beyond physical handling, you will maintain precise stock control and inventory records, which includes investigating and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Efficiency and safety are central to the position, as you will support daily warehouse workflows and uphold rigorous safety standards across the facility. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to team members whenever necessary. Reliability, organisation, and a keen attention to detail are essential traits for succeeding in this multifaceted operational environment.
